How to Cope with Stress: Practical Tools for Resilience and Well-Being — A 10 Day Course
Many of us struggle with chronic stress and we feel overwhelmed by the day to day challenges we face in our lives. So whether you are a parent, a medical or mental health professional, in the business world, a caretaker of an ill family member, or anyone looking for strategies to reduce high levels of stress, this workshop will offer you specific tools to help you cope with stress and cultivate greater well-being.
Included in this package is a 10 day class (with each session between 10-15 minutes in length) and 11 accompanying guided meditations (varying between 3-15 minutes in length each) that can be used during the How to Cope with Stress course of your day to help you manage stress, develop greater resilience, and create more ease in your day.
Learn how to bring mindfulness and other tools with you into the How to Cope with Stress course of your day to help prevent chronic stress that can lead to burnout. All materials are available for download so you can listen on whatever device you choose. This workshop is a great companion to my book “The Transformative Power of Ten Minutes: An Eight Week Guide to Reducing Stress and Cultivating Well-Being” and can be done in conjunction with the exercises in the book for maximum benefit.
This class will provide you with three specific tools that you can carry into your day with you that take only a few minutes, yet can have a big impact on reducing stress and enhancing your well-being. These evidence-based strategies are drawn from research in the areas of: mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral psychology, and positive psychology. This How to Cope with Stress course will help you understand your stress response and how to view it as a healthy signal that something needs your attention.
You will then learn three tools that you can bring into your everyday life. While four meditations are embedded into the lessons of this 10 day class, this package also includes 7 additional meditations, for a total of 11 audio meditations available for download that will help to reinforce the skills being taught and will assist you in growing inner resources to cope with your challenges with greater resilience.

About Beth Kurland
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in practice since 1994, experienced in working with people across the life span (preschool through adulthood). I provide evidence-based therapy to treat a wide array of emotional, behavioral, and behavioral health issues. I believe in a strength-based approach, drawing from and building upon already existing strengths and internal resources within each person to empower people to move through their life challenges with greater ease.
My goal is to give people the tools and skills they need to move from difficulty and suffering to greater joy and well-being by using techniques drawn from the practices of Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mind-Body Medicine, Positive Psychology, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Over the years I have experienced first-hand the power of meditation, mindfulness, and mind-body practices and have made these an integral part of my personal and professional life. I believe in not only helping people to address problems in their lives, but also in using integrative approaches to help transform their lives to experience greater well-being and wholeness.
I am very excited by the recent research in psychology, neuroscience, and epigenetics. Never before have we had such compelling evidence to suggest that we are not fixed and static creatures, but in fact, with simple tools, can learn to rewire our brains to decrease stress, increase well-being, enhance our immune functioning, improve our health, and even help prevent disease.
My newest book is Dancing on the Tightrope: Transcending the Habits of Your Mind and Awakening To Your Fullest Life. My two other published books are: The Transformative Power of Ten Minutes: An Eight Week Guide to Reducing Stress and Cultivating Well-Being (Awarded Finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards Health and Wellness Category), and Gifts of the Rain Puddle: Poems, Meditations and Reflections for the Mindful Soul (Winner of the Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the Gift/Novelty Book Category).
I am also currently in the process of publishing several other books including three children’s books, with accompanying games, intended to give children and their caregivers helpful tools to deal with difficult emotions and cultivate positivity.
