Why is this important?
After eighteen years as a professional bodyworker, I find that strengthening exercises and workout programs is the most common way to approach the body.
In many cases, this is legit; but I often hear people telling me they had to stop doing them because it caused more problems or was straight out dull.
Movement IS our common denominator; thus, we should aim to restore general movement abilities throughout the whole body, not just individual parts.
About Kai Kjartan Høgberg
Who am I?
My name is Kai, and I am from Norway.
I was trained as a Massage Therapist in 2003. I graduated in Anatomy Structural Integration in 2006, so helping people in pain and movement restrictions has been my career for almost two decades.
For several years, I’ve been assisting and teaching other professionals, such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, Yoga teachers, personal trainers, and others, nationally and internationally.
I reside a strong passion for movement, applied in an exploratory, playful and creative way. I try to inspire my clients and students to play with activities throughout the day, wherever they are.
I have participated in sports such as cross country skiing, speed skating, athletics, Tae Kwon Do, and scuba diving. In addition, I have been working with various athletes, from novice and up to world champions and Olympic level.
